OUr Team
The following are just some of the people who make everything happen here at Purefoy Electric, LLC.
Michael Purefoy and his family are the original founders/builders of Purefoy Electric. Although initially the company was known as MP Electric (DBA), the LLC was always Purefoy Electric. Michael owned and operated the business under the MP banner for almost 20 years. He began with one truck and a small shed in his back yard. He had no investors, no cash, and no real assets to speak of. What he did have was the Work Ethic, Drive, Passion, and Desire to build something great. He began to lead people in that direction. He had to overcome much adversity and many trials along the way, but these things only increased the experience and drive to build this great company. Flash forward 20 years. Michael now owns a company with roughly 100 employees and thousands of clients whom we seek to serve well. His Desire is to maintain and continue to build a positive culture for employees to thrive in joyfully. Michael is a family man rooted in his faith in God. As great as the success sounds so far, he is not done yet. Michael wants to build this business into something that will give back to the community and the employees like something never seen in this area before.
Ian McAllister is not only a veteran of the military but is also a 10+ year veteran of Purefoy Electric LLC. Ian is a Master Electrician and is Head of all commercial new construction operations. He Leads a team of PMs and estimators for many projects at any given time. Ian has played a crucial role in the growth and success of the department and the business. His hard work ethic has paid off and is something his team looks to for inspiration.
Sean McAllister has been with the company for more than 10 years and has excelled quickly in the time he has been here. Sean started as an electrician, received his Journeyman license, became a Foreman, then a Super, and now a PM. Sean is a strong leader and we know the other foreman will follow in his footsteps. Sean is also an avid Drone pilot, which has been incredible when it comes to documenting the number of projects he oversees.
Brian Purefoy is a family man rooted in his faith and a desire to serve others. He has roughly 15 years in the Trade and started as an apprentice electrician, received his Journeyman, worked as a lead tech, then a service manager and now a director. He has seen the process of management from all angles of the business. He has studied and continued to educate himself on marketing and leadership. Brian understands that the the people are the most important part of a successful business. That is why, when he agreed to build a service department about 5 years ago, he chose people with good character he could trust, starting with Sam Poynor and his wife Jaimie. His Team has allowed him to focus on scale and innovation. He has been able to gain more exposure to the talented people who work here and has very ambitious goals for the department.
Sammy Poynor is absolutely a family man who came to this company after managing a small construction company with his father. He had much experience in construction which enabled him to learn this trade quickly. However, his faith in God and Leadership roles in the church were what led him to be in the position he is in now. Sam was brought in to help build a Service department unlike any ever built in this company. Sam started as an apprentice, learned to be a Lead and passed his Wireman Exam. He then began teaching and leading others right before scoring a near perfect score on his Journeyman Exam. Sam then began to build great relationships with our clients and employees. He has continued to educate himself in every aspect of business and he has become a great Leader and has a great future with this company.
Darla Payne was a satisfied customer, actually, before coming to work for us at Purefoy Electric. She is a family woman of faith who has a tremendous character. She was a leader in the financial departments of her church and is trusted by the people around her and in the community. We were very excited and blessed to have hired her to help lead this department into the next phase. She has much experience in the construction industry and understands the terminology from the team members and can empathize with clients over the phone. She has a servant's heart, and this is very clear when she is working. Darla is incredibly driven, and she will be an extreme asset moving forward.
Stefanie Gresham, formerly Stefanie Purefoy, after marriage to her high school sweetheart, is one of the most trustworthy and loyal people you could ever meet. Stefanie is responsible for all purchasing and purchase order systems in place now. She is also assisting in leading our company in purchase order innovation software. She will be crucial in the certain projected growth of the business and will increase margins with her knowledge in accounting, HR, and systems. Stefanie understands this type of business in and out. Even though her role is that of commercial project admin, many go to her for advice in all areas of the business.
Safety is the most important task for Purefoy Electric to uphold. Dylan Cummins came to us from one of the strictest safety communities in the oil and gas industry. Once he arrived with those talents, we put him through even more training. Dylan went through extensive training with OSHA and even had an OSHA consultant to assist with the training. His sole purpose is to lead our company in safety standards that will help change our industry.
Sharla came to Purefoy many years ago. She has stepped up when asked to and worked countless hours to ensure the success of the company. Sharla is a very loyal person with a big heart, and she has a work ethic like so very few people do. She is a family woman who cares deeply about her daughter. She will be educating herself even more in the future for the positions she seeks to do well. We know Sharla is an asset to this business and are excited to see what her future brings.
